Binding – the bridging of in-between spaces.

The term bridging implies that two or more locations are connected with each other; whether these are conceptual, emotional, cultural, tonal, visibly real, walkable, etc.
Two benches are connected with each other and thus fuse into a larger, transformed object. Also, it is possible to sit on the soft connecting piece.
